Dear Visitor! Welcome to our website! The Hungarian Digital Image Library has been developed by the National Széchényi Library in collaboration with 48 Hungarian libraries in 2008-2009. The development of the continuously expanding digital image collection was funded by the Renaissance Program Office and the Hungarian Ministry of Education and Culture.
The representative selection has been established for educational, cultural and scientific purposes. The creative use and reuse of the digital images will be supported from time to time with new special services.
By collecting and providing digital images from different collections users get an overview of the cultural heritage preserved in the libraries, and the images can be freely used for learning, acquisition of knowledge and entertainment. Commercial use of the images requires prior permission from the rights holder libraries We hope that our service will appeal to you and you will return on a regular basis. Poetry Day
